Not even going to waste no time, I’m going to get straight to it. This isn’t good.

I’m not hating. I’m not even upset about what’s been going on as of late. Just here to point out the obvious. It’s not fun seeing the league’s best players all playing in the same jersey for a full season. No need for subliminal shots, we all know who I’m talking about; the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Prior to this season, it seemed as if the era of the super team wasn’t going to be a thing for some years…

This season’s draft was a little top-heavy. Shit, to call it just top-heavy is generous. Among all the well-known names to casual fans, there are always players who fly under the radar.

With the likes of Lamelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, and James Wiseman taking all the attention in the rookie class, there is one player that has thrown himself into the conversation. That man is Tyrese Haliburton of the Sacramento Kings. The name might be unfamiliar to casual fans, but that’s why I’m here, to put you on.

Haliburton is a 6'5 point guard who came out of Iowa State…

1999 dropped on the 12th of June in 2012. The debut mixtape of young up and coming rapper Joey Bada$$. This mixtape single-handedly changed the way I viewed and listened to music. To call it monumental is an understatement.

This shit one of the greatest mixtapes of all time.

I’m probably in a small minority but I wholeheartedly believe that 1999 is the greatest rap mixtape of all time. This dropping at the time it did was something out of the ordinary.

Around 2012 rappers such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, 2 Chainz, and Rick Ross were dominating the…

“Y’all ain’t met Playoff P yet huh?”

Those seven words right there, have seemed to put a curse on Paul George. It’s one thing if someone else puts a curse on you, but those words came out of his mouth. Which seems like the overall theme for George since he began playing in the Western Conference. He brings it all on himself.

Since the birth of Playoff P, Paul George’s name has become a punchline to NBA Twitter and NBA fans. It wasn’t always like this though. Throwback to the early-2010s when George was a young two-way star leading…

Sleep in peace George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and all the people that lost their lives before them

I was 12 years old when Trayvon Martin was murdered. Fast forward 8 years and as a 21-year-old I had to watch the video of George Floyd, another black man, get murdered. In the same month, I had to watch the video of Ahmaud Arbery get shot to death.

These stories and videos have become too familiar in recent years. Black people losing their lives over trivial things. Losing their lives at the hands of racists, and those who were meant to protect and serve us.

History will continue to repeat itself until we all learn from our mistakes as…

When thinking about some of the greatest handles in NBA history who comes to mind?

Allen Iverson? Of course.

Kyrie Irving? Without a doubt.

Tim Hardaway? That between the legs cross was tough.

Pistol Pete? He was a pioneer. He started the wave.

Then you got Jamal Crawford or Jcrossover. Whatever you want to call him, he’s up there. He’s on that list and he probably has the smoothest looking handle in the history of the NBA. Not the best but the smoothest.

Watch Jamal Crawford dribble and you’ll see that his style is like no other. His handle isn’t…

With no clear date in sight for the return of the NBA, let’s take this time to remember and celebrate some of the greats the game has given us. Vince Carter will be a Hall of Famer when it’s all said and done. He dedicated 22 of his 43 years on Earth to the NBA. Throughout those…

In recent years Mike D’Antoni of the Houston Rockets has been one of the most innovative coaches in the NBA, and it seems like he might be onto something with his super small-ball lineup.

Yes. You read it right, super small-ball. The Rockets have doubled down on their strict threes and layup diet on offense and implemented trotting out a lineup of players who are no taller than 6 foot 7.

On February 6, 2020, the Houston Rockets rolled into Staples Center with a lineup consisting of Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Eric Gordon, Danuel House Jr, and PJ Tucker at…

The Oklahoma City Thunder have seen a lot of turnover in their roster in the past eight years. After losing their core of James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook the Thunder have managed to accumulate young talent and remain relevant in the Western Conference.

Every season there tends to be a team that falls short of championship expectations, but it’s rare that we see a franchise manage to do that for a majority of a decade. The Oklahoma City Thunder have managed to do just that in the past decade. …
